Water resistance

How does a fabric’s waterproof qualities help in reality? Imagine you're walking down a street and it starts raining suddenly. Under light rain conditions, the water pressure is probably around 3000 mmH2O. When it turns into heavy rain, the pressure can reach 7000 mmH2O. Anything above 10,000 mmH2O...well, that's like standing under a waterfall or on the receiving end of a firefighter’s water hose.

To tolerate extreme conditions, it’s better to choose outfits with a water resistance number above 15,000 mmH2O. The water resistance number of most of Xpore Fabrics is over 20,000mmH2O (however it still varies from textile to textile). Therefore, we can keep users dry and comfortable.
